New Jersey Engagement Session Locations

We are happy to provide you with our highly recommended locations for shooting engagement sessions in NJ! A few of these locations are seasonal or time-sensitive so please be sure to take note. Many parks do require a permit with fees although lot’s of included parks in this list do not. We do not charge for 20 miles round trip, but an additional fee of .75 per mile may apply if we are traveling beyond that. Plus parking & tolls and permit fees if needed which are not included.

Many locations have not required a permit in the past and have begun doing so more recently. It is always advised to call any location to confirm wether you will need a permit or not. That being said some parks are much more strict about requiring a permit than others. Also, having a permit would provide you with the rights to use the space over those without.

Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex 

Very nice benches, beautiful lake, lovely bridges, pleasant walkway, greenery, and paddle boats ; Parking lot to right after light

Glen Gazebo

Very small area but pleasant, amenities include: greenery, gazebo, cute walkway with lamp posts, brick walls, rolling stream, classic bridge.

Liberty State Park 
Long winding walk ways, 9/11 memorial ( must be sensitive to visitors and keep pathway available and clear at all times), skyline/city views, and even a lake view.

The Woman’s Club of Englewood (travel fee) - requires permit between 7:30AM - 3:30PM
